After the Bears made the much-anticipated selection of USC quarterback Caleb Williams with the first overall pick in Thursday's draft, social media was abuzz with reaction.
There were also plenty of excited fans at the draft in Detroit as well as at the Miller Lite Draft Party at Soldier Field, where fans and players alike were elated about the choice, especially after Williams joined the party virtually via hologram.
The Bears followed up the selection of Williams by adding Odunze with the ninth overall pick, and social media exploded with more positive reaction.
Williams himself was super excited when he learned Odunze was going to be joining him in Chicago.
Williams then surprised Odunze during his virtual media availability.
There was plenty of excitement, congratulations and well-wishes for the dynamic duo, along with praise for the Bears and general manager Ryan Poles for his pair of top-10 picks.
