Bears right tackle Bobby Massie remains sidelined with a concussion he suffered in last weekend's loss to the Buccaneers and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's road game against the Giants.
Veteran Mike Adams replaced Massie in Tampa and is eager to get more playing time after missing all of last season with a back injury. Adams was selected by the Steelers in the second round of the 2012 draft out of Ohio State and appeared in 41 games with 20 starts over three seasons with Pittsburgh.

"I hadn't played in a regular-season game since 2014, so it was nice to get in the action and get to be on the field with the guys," Adams said. "I'm looking forward to the opportunity this week. I'm wishing Bobby well, obviously. He's one of my brothers; I hope he heals up. But I plan on going in and taking advantage of the opportunity and giving it all I've got."
Adams told reporters Friday that he underwent a microdiscetomy procedure to repair a disc in his back and has since fully recovered.
"I started rehabbing, had a little setback. But now I'm here, I'm past it and I'm ready to go," Adams said. "I've got full confidence in my guys back home who rehabbed me and got me ready and in the guys here to know that my body is ready. It holds up and feels strong."
Bears coach John Fox was impressed with how Adams performed against the Buccaneers without getting many reps in practice during the week leading up to the game.
"He's big, he's long and he's got really long arm length," Fox said. "He's smart. He's adapted to what we're doing pretty quickly. Hs stepped in last week against Tampa on not much notice and didn't stick out. In that situation that's a good thing."
The Bears offensive line will be challenged Sunday by Giants defensive ends Olivier Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul.
"These guys are guys that have been around for a long time," Adams said. "They're very elusive guys, powerful guys. They've been in the league doing this for, I think Vernon's in his [fifth] year and JPP's been here for a while. So they're successful guys. Just got to go out, follow the game plan, execute and compete."
Like Massie, other Bears who did not practice all week and are listed as doubtful are defensive end Mitch Unrein (back) and cornerback Deiondre Hall (ankle).
Bears who were limited in practice and are questionable are receivers Eddie Royal (toe) and Marquess Wilson (foot), left guard Josh Sitton (ankle), nose tackle Eddie Goldman (ankle), outside linebackers Pernell McPhee (knee) and Willie Young (ankle), and cornerbacks Tracy Porter (knee) and Bryce Callahan (hamstring).
