Houston wins NCAA bracket challenge

Bears players filled out their NCAA Basketball Tournament brackets for bragging rights on ChicagoBears.com.

With North Carolina's win over Gonzaga Monday night in the NCAA men's basketball championship game, Lamarr Houston has won this year's Bears bracket challenge.

Houston finished with 117 points, edging Mitch Unrein (115), Charles Leno, Jr. (113), Dion Sims (113) and Connor Barth (105). Each of the top five finishers had North Carolina winning the tournament. Mike Glennon, who came in sixth with 86 points, would have won the bracket challenge had Gonzaga defeated North Carolina in the title game.

A total of 16 current Bears players participated. Rounding out the top 10, Ben Braunecker was seventh with 82 points, followed by Cody Whitehair (74), Pat O'Donnell (72) and Patrick Scales (70).
