Ben Johnson was named head coach of the Chicago Bears on Jan. 21, 2025. Johnson is the 18th full-time head coach in the franchise’s 106-year history, arriving in Chicago after leading one of the NFL’s most prolific offenses with the Detroit Lions.

Dennis Allen
Defensive Coordinator
Dennis Allen joins the Bears in 2025 to coordinate Chicago’s defense. Allen enters his 30th season in the coaching profession after most recently serving as the head coach of the New Orleans Saints (2022-24).
Declan Doyle
Offensive Coordinator
Declan Doyle joins the Bears in 2025 as offensive coordinator. Doyle assumes the role of offensive coordinator after most recently leading the tight ends group of the Denver Broncos (2023-24).
Richard Hightower
Special Teams Coordinator
Richard Hightower enters his fourth season as the Chicago Bears special teams coordinator in 2025 and his fifth year overall in Chicago after previously serving as the club’s assistant special teams coach in 2016.
