The Bears are continuing to inspire the next generation of girls in football, this time in Spain through the launch of an official girls flag football league. In the coming weeks, leagues in Madrid and Barcelona will begin their inaugural seasons, giving hundreds of girls across 12-16 teams from eight different schools the opportunity to play a sport that is rapidly expanding around the world.

The top 56 girls flag football players across Illinois from the 2025 season were honored Monday when the Bears hosted the third annual All-State dinner at Soldier Field.

Several Bears executives, including President & CEO Kevin Warren and chairman George H. McCaskey, were at Willowbrook High School last Saturday to help support the second Illinois High School Association girls flag football state championships.

Throughout Chicago Bears Training Camp by LRS, the team hosted five high school girls flag football teams for exclusive visits to Halas Hall, which include access to practice and opportunities to meet players, coaches and front office executives.

Five girls flag football teams each spent a special day at Bears training camp, which included watching practice, meeting players, and getting a surprise from President & CEO Kevin Warren and his wife, Greta.

Each of the five girls flag football teams who were invited to training camp received one final surprise before they left Halas Hall: brand new pairs of Nike cleats, courtesy of Bears President and CEO Kevin Warren and his wife, Greta.

The Bears hosted their inaugural Celebrating Women and Girls in Sports Day — brought to you by the Chicago Bears Women's Advisory Board — at 2025 Chicago Bears Training Camp by LRS Wednesday. Designed to empower the team's female fans, female athletes and female professionals, the day was highlighted by the first-ever Women in Sports Media Career Expo for 50 local college students, who engaged in panel discussions, networking opportunities and hands-on workshops with women both inside and outside the organization.

The Chicago Bears are proud to host their inaugural Celebrating Women and Girls in Sports Day, including the first-ever Women in Sports Media Career Expo, brought to you by the Chicago Bears Women's Advisory Board, on Wednesday, Aug. 13 as part of the 2025 Chicago Bears Training Camp by LRS. At the 28th annual Bears Care Gala, the organization's charitable arm paid tribute to Virginia Halas McCaskey and her passion for supporting the Chicagoland community. 

Ahead of Mother's Day and the Bears Care Gala, the Bears are honoring Virginia Halas McCaskey, who passed on February 6 at age 102. ChicagoBears.com spoke with nearly a dozen people closest to Mrs. McCaskey to showcase who she was as a mother, grandmother, friend and member of the community through personal stories spanning decades back.

On March 8 — International Women's Day — the Bears hosted the first ever collegiate women's flag football game in the state of Illinois, featuring Benedictine University and Rockford University.
