The Bears’ No. 1 offense played only one series Saturday night against the Bengals after sitting out the preseason opener versus the Browns, but quarterback Caleb Williams is confident that the unit will be ready when the regular season kicks off Sept. 13 in Carolina.
After sitting out last weekend’s preseason opener, most Bears starters saw limited action in Saturday night’s 27-9 loss to the Bengals. Caleb Williams and the No. 1 offense played only the opening possession of the game, marching 33 yards on eight plays to set up Cairo Santos’ 45-yard field goal.

The Chicago Bears announced $200,000 in donations to support communities impacted by severe storms and flooding across Chicago's south suburbs and Northwest Indiana, with $100,000 provided to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago and $100,000 to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Gary.
