On March 8 — International Women's Day — the Bears hosted the first ever collegiate women's flag football game in the state of Illinois, featuring Benedictine University and Rockford University.

As part of the Chicago Bears' celebration of Black History Month, the club honored former Bears cornerback and the club's first Black captain Bennie McRae — who passed away Nov. 22, 2012 — with a display inside Halas Hall as well as a deeper dive into his career on and off the field. 

As part of the Bears' Black History Month theme — Legacy: Creation & Celebration — student writer Gena Jones reflects on her upbringing along Chicago's lakefront, which fostered a family-wide Bears fandom and a deep passion for storytelling. 

Three Guilford High School seniors represented the Bears in an NFC versus AFC matchup during the inaugural NFL Flag High School Girls Showcase, a competition featuring 30 of the best flag players in the nation as part of the 2025 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando.
