The Bears100 Celebration Weekend June 7-9 in Rosemont will honor the franchise's illustrious history, but the current team also will be well-represented.
In fact, the entire 2019 squad is scheduled to be on hand for the festivities at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, participating in the Opening Ceremonies Friday night and signing free autographs throughout the weekend.
In addition, the 2019 Bears will be featured in a number of panel discussions, highlighted by one entitled "Chasing Great" from 9:15-10:05 a.m. Sunday with cornerbacks Prince Amukamara and Kyle Fuller, tackle Charles Leno Jr., receiver Anthony Miller and linebacker Danny Trevathan.
The players will share what it took to win the 2018 NFC North title and how they hope to capitalize on the momentum in their pursuit of a Super Bowl championship.
A "Meet the Coordinators" panel discussion will feature Mark Helfrich (offense), Chuck Pagano (defense) and Chris Tabor (special teams) from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Bears100 Celebration will boast the largest gathering of current and former Bears players of all time. In addition to the panels, the weekend will include autograph sessions, photo opportunities, memorabilia and merchandise sales, interactive games, kids activities and a walk-though Bears history zone.
Other panels at the event will include Hall of Fame middle linebackers Mike Singletary, Dick Butkus and Brian Urlacher; quarterbacks Jim McMahon and Mitchell Trubisky; safeties Gary Fencik, Doug Plank, Mike Brown and Eddie Jackson; and the 1985 Super Bowl XX championship team.
