3: Number of games the Bears will play on Thursdays this season, the most in franchise history. They'll host the Packers Sept. 5 and Cowboys Dec. 5 in prime-time contests at Soldier Field and visit the Lions Nov. 28 on Thanksgiving Day.
3: Number of Bears home games scheduled to kick off on Sundays at noon this season (against the Chargers Oct. 27, Lions Nov. 10 and Giants Nov. 24). Three other home contests will begin at 7:20 p.m. (versus the Packers Sept. 5, Cowboys Dec. 5 and Chiefs Dec. 22) and two will start at 3:25 p.m. (against the Vikings Sept. 29 and Saints Oct. 20).
4: Number of consecutive wins by the Bears against NFC West opponents. They swept the division last season, beating the Seahawks 24-17 and Rams 15-6 at home and the Cardinals 16-14 and 49ers 14-9 on the road. The Bears' only game against an NFC West opponent this season will be Nov. 17 on Sunday Night Football against the Rams in Los Angeles.
6: Number of games the Bears will play this season against 2018 playoff teams. They'll face three on consecutive Sundays immediately after their bye week in the Saints Oct. 20, Chargers Oct. 27 and Eagles Nov. 3. The others are versus the Rams Nov. 17, Cowboys Dec. 5 and Chiefs Dec. 22.
6: Number of times the Bears will have played their season opener in prime time. They beat the Giants 34-19 in Chicago in 1987 and the Cowboys 22-6 in Chicago in 1996 and lost to the Packers 38-24 in Green Bay in 1997 on Monday Night Football. They also defeated the Colts 29-13 in Indianapolis in 2008 and lost to the Packers 21-15 in Green Bay in 2009 and again last year 24-23 on Sunday Night Football.
14: Number of consecutive seasons the Bears will have played the Packers in a prime-time game. Since 2006, the teams will have met eight times on Sunday Night Football, three times on Monday Night Football and three times on Thursday Night Football. While the Bears have played the Packers in Green Bay in prime time each of the past eight seasons, this year's opener will be the first night game between the longtime rivals at Soldier Field since a 20-17 Bears win in 2010.
26: Years since the Bears last played a regular-season game in Los Angeles. The Bears' Nov. 17 contest against the Rams will be their first in L.A. since they lost the 1993 season finale 20-6 to the Rams.
34: Number of times the Bears will have opened the season against the Packers. The Bears are 17-14-2 in those games, losing the last three 21-15 in 2009, 31-23 in 2015 and 24-23 last year. The Bears last beat the Packers in a season opener in 2006 when they blanked Green Bay 26-0 in what was the only home shutout in quarterback Brett Favre's career with the Packers.
36: Number of games the Bears will have played on Thanksgiving. They'll visit the Lions in Detroit on turkey day for the second straight year. The Bears are 18-15-2 all-time on Thanksgiving, including 9-8 versus the Lions. The Bears first played on Thanksgiving in their first year of existence. Then known as the Decatur Staleys, they defeated the Chicago Tigers in a road game at Wrigley Field 6-0 on Nov. 25, 1920.
100: Number of seasons the Bears and the NFL will be celebrating this year. The Bears were among the original teams when the league was founded on Sept. 20, 1920 at a meeting of club representatives at a Hupmobile showroom in Canton, Ohio.
