Bears' NFL Fan of the Year application now open

The Bears and the National Football League have announced that applications are now open for the fifth annual NFL Fan of the Year contest. The contest recognizes and celebrates the most extraordinary fan, one that inspires others through their love of the Bears and football.

To nominate a loyal Bears fan, visit NFL.com/FanOfTheYear to initiate the process, then follow each proceeding step until the application meets all requirements for submission. Each submission will be evaluated on the following criteria – passion, enthusiasm and fandom of the Chicago Bears; story of inspiration and community spirit. Applications close on Monday, September 30, and winners will be revealed from Weeks 7 through 9 of the season.

The National Football League created the Fan of the Year campaign as a way to highlight fans who have a sincere dedication to their team, while inspiring others and demonstrating the pride and unity gained through the game of football to their families, friends and communities. Each team's Fan of the Year will receive a trip to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, a package that includes two tickets, flight and hotel accommodations and a VIP experience. The ultimate winner of the NFL Fan of the Year will be announced at NFL Honors, providing the recipient with the opportunity to represent their club on one of the NFL's grandest stages.

Previous Bears' Fan of the Year winners Include Shameka Leach (2023), Corey Schieler (2022), Destiny Blackmon (2021) and Paul Videtich (2020).
