How will the Bears fare this season? We've compiled game-by-game predictions that were made by 10 Chicago reporters after the schedule was released Thursday evening.

Interestingly, eight of the 10 members of our panel think the Bears will go 9-7 this year. The only exceptions are WSCR 670 AM's Chris Emma (10-6) and ESPN's Jeff Dickerson (7-9).

The reporters agree on six games, with all 10 projecting wins over the Giants Sept. 20 and Vikings Nov. 16 at home and Panthers Oct. 18 and Jaguars Dec. 27 on the road, and losses to the Saints Nov. 1 at Soldier Field and the Packers Nov. 29 at Lambeau Field.

Two other contests were nearly unanimous, with nine of the 10 panelists predicting a win over the Lions Dec. 6 at Soldier Field (except the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs) and a loss to the Vikings Dec. 20 in Minnesota (except the Chicago Tribune's Dan Wiederer).

The reporters are split right down the middle 5-5 on two games: against the Buccaneers Oct. 8 in Chicago and versus the Rams Oct. 26 in Los Angeles.

The only member of our panel who predicts that the Bears will start 4-0 is The Athletic's Adam Jahns.
