The Bears on Wednesday announced the uniforms they will wear for each home game during their centennial season.
The reigning NFC North champions will wear their traditional navy jerseys for both preseason games and five of their eight regular-season contests at Soldier Field.
The Bears will don their new classic uniforms Sept. 29 against the Vikings and Dec. 5 versus the Cowboys. The uniform is a recreation of the one the team wore for one season in 1936. It features white jerseys with the Bears100 patch, navy and orange stripes on the shoulders and sleeves, navy numbers and letters, navy pants and navy and orange striped socks.
The Bears will also wear their orange jerseys Oct. 27 against the Chargers.
In addition, the Bears will wear helmets featuring the white "C" with a gray facemask Nov. 24 versus the Giants when the organization honors the 1960s; the white "C" made its debut on the helmet in 1962 and lasted until 1973 when it was changed to orange with white trim.
The Bears will also give away bobbleheads at each preseason and regular season home game this year. The bobbleheads will correspond with the decade that's being honored at each contest at Soldier Field. The first 20,000 fans to enter the stadium at any gate will receive a voucher designating a pickup area inside the stadium. Fans must pick up their bobblehead prior to kickoff.
