The Bears on Thursday added an 11th undrafted rookie free agent, signing Texas State offensive lineman Adrian Bellard.

The 6-5, 314-pound tackle started all 12 of his school's games each of the past three seasons and was a three-time winner of the Texas State John O'Hara Memorial Offensive Lineman of the Year Award.
Last season Bellard was voted honorable mention All-Sun Belt Conference after registering 56.5 knockdown blocks and not allowing a sack. He played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl all-star game in Los Angeles after the season.
To make room on the roster for Bellard, the Bears waived safety Anthony Jefferson. Jefferson joined the Bears last year as an undrafted free agent from UCLA but spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve with an arm injury.
The Bears announced the signings of 10 undrafted rookie free agents Monday: Harvard tight end Ben Braunecker, Duquesne offensive lineman Dan Buchholz, Mississippi cornerback Taveze Calhoun, Villanova linebacker Don Cherry, Georgia Southern receiver Derek Keaton, Buffalo tackle John Kling, Liberty receiver Darrin Peterson, Oklahoma State cornerback Kevin Peterson, UTEP outside linebacker Roy Robertson-Harris and Wisconsin-Oshkosh tight end Joe Sommers.
