With Robbie Gould listed as doubtful for Thursday night's game against the Cowboys with a quad injury, the Bears on Wednesday signed veteran kicker Jay Feely.
Feely has made 82.7 percent of his field goal attempts (329 of 398) over 13 NFL seasons with the Falcons (2001-04), Giants (2005-06), Dolphins (2007), Jets (2008-09) and Cardinals (2010-13). He has also converted 444 of 446 extra point tries for a total of 1,431 points.

Gould sat out practice Wednesday for the second straight day. It appears that he will miss only the fourth game since joining the Bears in 2005. The only others came during the final three weeks of the 2013 season after he was placed on injured reserve with a calf injury.
Gould is currently tied with Kevin Butler for the most field goals in Bears history with 243. The eighth most accurate kicker in NFL history at 85.6 percent, Gould has made 9 of 12 field goal attempts this season, including only 1 of 3 over the last six games.
In other injury news, linebacker Darryl Sharpton (hamstring) has been ruled out of Thursday night's game. Defensive end Cornelius Washington (chest) is doubtful. Safety Chris Conte (eye), receiver Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) and defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff (knee) are questionable.
Tight end Martellus Bennett (foot), cornerback Tim Jennings (groin), guard Kyle Long (calf) and defensive end Trevor Scott (knee) are probable.
