The Chicago Bears and Chase, the bank of the Bears, have joined forces to host a food drive during the month of November benefiting the Greater Chicago Food Depository and those in need. The food drive goal is to collect a minimum of 20,000 pounds or enough meals for approximately 26,000 people this holiday season.

"The Chicago Bears are proud to partner with Chase on this important initiative to benefit deserving children and families during the upcoming holiday season," said George H. McCaskey, Chairman, Chicago Bears. "We encourage our great fans to help their fellow Chicagoans by supporting this food drive. Every donation will make a difference and will help the Greater Chicago Food Depository provide essential support and meals to those in need."

The drive kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by Chicago Bears alum and Pro Bowl lineman, James "Big Cat" Williams, with Chase and Chicago Food Depository executives of a replica of the iconic Chase Tower Chicago made of cans. The replica is constructed of 9,000 cans of food that will be donated at the end of the food drive.

"We've got a great City; filled with wonderful organizations like the Bears and the Food Depository that are committed to making a difference in our community. But hunger is still an issue in too many lives in Chicago," said Glenn Tilton, Midwest chairman, JPMorgan Chase. "We're asking Bears fans, Chase employees, customers and anyone in the greater Chicago community to help us try and put an end to hunger this holiday season."

On Chase Day at Soldier Field (November 25), attendees will be given an empty grocery bag as they leave the stadium. Individuals will be asked to fill the bag with non-perishable food donations and drop the bag off at any of the 100 Chase branches in Chicago. Food donations also will be accepted at the company's three main downtown offices – Chase Tower Chicago, the Citadel Building, and 300 S. Riverside.

For those that can't make it into the City, a virtual donation is possible through the Chicago Bears website (www.ChicagoBears.com/fooddrive) between November 5-30.
