Bears to highlight family-focused activities during "It's We Season"

The Chicago Bears will highlight family-focused activities during “It’s We Season” beginning with "Illinois. Are You Up For Amazing?" Chicago Bears Training Camp and running through the Aug. 29 preseason game vs. Tennessee. The following events will be featured as part of the campaign:

"Illinois. Are You Up For Amazing?" Chicago Bears Training Camp
The Bears return to Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill., for the 18th consecutive season with practices open to the public on select days from Saturday, July 27, through Saturday, Aug. 10. Camp will be open to the public from 7:30 a.m. until noon on July 27-29, Aug. 1-2, Aug. 4-5 and Aug. 10.

Training camp practices will require a free ticket for entry. All tickets are free and accessible by signing up in advance at chicagobears.com/camp. Parking is free in surrounding lots, which open two hours before gates open. Giveaways will be provided at gates for the first 1,000 fans or while supplies last; items include arm sleeves, eye black, headbands, jersey can coolers, mini fans, magnet schedules, stadium seat cushions and umbrella hats.

Activity areas include Mini Monsters Clinic brought to you by Advocate Health Care, End Zone, Midway, Art Van Lounge and Staley's Corner brought to you by Visit Kankakee County. Fans can also head to the Goodwill Store and Donation Center in Bourbonnais to pick up passes for entry into the Goodwill VIP Autograph Zone; passes are date specific and limited quantities are available.

Advocate Health Care will provide the Advocate Children's Hospital Nursing Pod, a portable nursing pod for mothers who are breastfeeding/pumping at training camp. The pod will be located near the First Aid area.

The 2019 "Illinois. Are You Up For Amazing?" Chicago Bears Training Camp is also brought to you by Art Van Furniture and Mattress, Kankakee County Convention & Visitors Bureau, PNC and Verizon.

Meijer Chicago Bears Family Fest
The Bears will hold the 2019 Meijer Chicago Bears Family Fest on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m. The event will be highlighted by the team's first 2019 practice at Soldier Field. Practice will be followed by fireworks.

Tickets are $10 (plus applicable fees) and will be available at chicagobears.com/familyfest. Parking lots open at 3 p.m. and the End Zone, which is an interactive area located at the Stadium Green outside of Gate 6, will be open from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Gates to Soldier Field are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with practice beginning at approximately 7 p.m.

The End Zone will include appearances by alumni, Staley Da Bear, Chicago Bears Drumline brought to you by The Pride Stores and Monster Squad brought to you by Planters, in addition to a live music performance by UltraBeat. The area will also feature pony rides, petting zoo, field goal kick, rock wall, face painting, video game truck, bounce house, first & goal bungee run, football toss, a stilt walker and other interactive displays. Kids can participate in Mini Monsters Clinic brought to you by Advocate Health Care and check out tents featuring the Chicago Bears Kids Club brought to you by Jewel-Osco and Crib Club brought to you by PNC.

Activities inside the stadium on the concourse will run from 5-9 p.m. and include a touchscreen graffiti wall, DJ Boy Wonder on the Dr Pepper Patio and Staley's Corner (face painting, Bears Giant Lite Brite and Letters to Staley). The Advocate Health Care Nursing Pod will be available and located inside Soldier Field across from Gate 25.

The 2019 Meijer Chicago Bears Family Fest is also brought to you by Miller Lite and PNC.

Preseason Home Games
The Chicago Bears will feature family-focused activities at the Thursday, Aug. 8, preseason game vs. Carolina at 7 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 29, preseason contest vs. Tennessee at 7 p.m. Both preseason home games are brought to you by United Airlines.

Similar to Meijer Chicago Bears Family Fest, the End Zone will feature pony rides, petting zoo, field goal kick, rock wall, caricaturists video game truck and other interactive displays. There will be live music performances by To the 9's (Aug. 8) and Red Carpet Riot (Aug. 29). This area will be open 2 ½ hours before the game until 30 minutes prior to kickoff.

Fans can also enjoy activities inside the stadium, such as the locker room display and graffiti wall photo opportunities, Bears Giant Lite Brite, face painting, Mighty Matchup brought to you by Undeniably Dairy and live music by DJ Sasha at the Dr Pepper Patio. "My First Bears Game" certificates will be available at all Fan Services booths. The Advocate Health Care Nursing Pod will be available and located inside Soldier Field across from Gate 25.

Fans may purchase tickets through Ticketmaster online at chicagobears.com/tickets or by phone at 800-745-3000 (800-943-4327 for the hearing impaired). Ticketmaster is the best destination for fans to safely purchase tickets to Bears games at Soldier Field this season.

The first 20,000 fans to enter the stadium at any gate will receive a Red Grange bobblehead (Aug. 8) or Bill George bobblehead (Aug. 29) brought to you by United Airlines in honor of the team's centennial season.

Beginning in 2019, entry to Bears games and events at Soldier Field will be via mobile tickets only. Ticket purchasers will have access to manage their tickets on their mobile device or online, including the ability to share tickets with guests, donate tickets or post tickets for resale. Mobile ticketing is intended to significantly reduce fraud and provide additional opportunities for enhanced customer experiences.
