Long-time NFL personnel guru Gil Brandt thinks that outside linebacker Leonard Floyd is the Bears player who's most likely to earn his first Pro Bowl invitation this season.
"Floyd had seven sacks as a rookie in 2016, but missed six games last season due to a knee injury," Brandt wrote on NFL.com. "He's a talented guy who can drop into coverage or rush with his hand on the ground and should play much better this season. He also has become much stronger since coming into the league."
Floyd missed the final six games last season with a knee injury. But after being limited in offseason workouts, he practiced without restrictions two weeks ago during minicamp and is expected to be "full-go" when training camp begins July 19.
