Wondering about a player, a past game or another issue involving the Bears? Senior writer Larry Mayer answers a variety of questions from fans on ChicagoBears.com.
For fantasy football purposes, do you think David Montgomery will be a "workhorse" or can you see a timeshare between him and Mike Davis?

I wouldn't be surprised to see rookie running back David Montgomery win the starting job, but I don't expect any of the Bears running backs to be a "workhorse." Matt Nagy's offense is designed to spread the ball around to multiple players, who all have their own roles and responsibilities. As we saw last season in Nagy's first year as coach, it's not the type of offense where one back gets 20-25 carries. I fully expect Montgomery, Davis and Tarik Cohen all to be utilized as ballcarriers and receivers. The same is true at the receiver position, where Allen Robinson II, Taylor Gabriel, Anthony Miller, Cordarrelle Patterson and possibly a couple others figure to be involved in the offense.
Do you think the Bears could add a rotational pass rusher on a one-year deal? I think that's where their depth is weakest on the roster.
From @Bronsonius on Twitter
General manager Ryan Pace is always looking to upgrade the roster at all positions, but I don't necessarily agree that the Bears are thin at outside linebacker. Behind their two starters, All-Pro Khalil Mack and 2016 first-round pick Leonard Floyd, they have a pair of productive reserves in Aaron Lynch and Isaiah Irving, in addition to some intriguing prospects such as 2018 sixth-round pick Kylie Fitts and undrafted rookie Mathieu Betts.
Are the Bears eligible to be featured on "Hard Knocks" this year?
From @rhdiv on Twitter
Any NFL team can volunteer to be on "Hard Knocks," but that rarely happens. The league can force teams to be featured on the behind-the-scenes reality show on HBO if they meet any of the following criteria: They do not have a first-year head coach, have not made the playoffs in the last two seasons or have not been featured on "Hard Knocks" the past 10 years. The Bears cannot be forced to be on the show because they qualified for the postseason last year. The only teams who could be selected by the league for the show this year based on the criteria are the 49ers, Raiders, Giants, Redskins and Lions.
