I've watched 38 years of Bears football and can't recall a crazier season: a 5-1 start, six straight losses and then a winning streak. Have you seen a crazier season?

Given the Bears' roller-coaster season combined with how COVID-19 has impacted the NFL (and all of our lives on a daily basis), I'm comfortable in saying that this is in fact the craziest, most unique season in Bears history. Even removing COVID-19 from the situation, I don't really recall a year the Bears experienced so many dramatic highs and lows. There have been seasons that have started great and ended badly and vice versa, but not really a strong start, followed by a long losing streak and then a strong finish. The closest year to this one may be 1995 when the Bears started 6-2, lost five of their next six and then closed with two wins. But they failed to make the playoffs on the final day of the season despite a victory over the Eagles because the defending Super Bowl champion 49ers were upset by the Falcons.

Cairo Santos has been nothing short of amazing this year. But who holds the longest consecutive field-goal streak in Bears history?

Cairo Santos enters Sunday's season finale against the Packers having made 24 straight field goals. That's tied for the Bears record for most consecutive field goals in one season set by Robbie Gould in 2006 and is two short of Gould's team mark of 26 straight field goals set over the 2005 and '06 campaigns. Santos has connected on 27-of-29 field-goal attempts through the first 15 games, a 93.1 percent success rate that would break Gould's record of 89.7 he established in 2008 and matched in 2013.

Prior to Roquan Smith picking off two passes against Jacksonville, who was the last Bears linebacker to have two interceptions in the same game?

Roquan Smith became the first Bears linebacker to intercept two passes in a game since Lance Briggs Nov. 23, 2008 in a 27-3 win over the Rams in St. Louis. Since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger, eight Bears linebackers have now picked off two passes in a game. Ross Brupbacher is the only one to do it twice, with three interceptions Dec. 12, 1976 in a 28-14 loss to the Broncos and two Oct. 24, 1976 in a 31-21 loss in Dallas. Others who've accomplished the feat include Waymond Bryant (Oct. 24, 1976), Doug Buffone (Sept. 10, 1978), Tom Hicks (Dec. 9, 1979), Wilber Marshall (Oct. 27, 1985) and Dante Jones (Sept. 26, 1993).
