Since the first meeting with the Packers in 1921, the Bears lead the series 93-91-6. Have the Packers ever been ahead?

Yes, but it's been a long, long time. The Packers haven't held an edge in the rivalry since they had an 11-10 series lead over the Bears entering the 1933 season. The Bears followed by winning five straight and have not trailed since. The Bears climbed to 10 games over .500 in 1946 (30-20) and improved to as high as 24 games over in 1960 (50-26) before the Packers closed the gap to 57-47 in 1974. Thanks in part to an eight-game winning streak from 1985-88, the Bears eventually reached a high-water mark of 25 games over in 1992 (81-56). But the Packers have whittled that lead all the way down to just 93-91-6 by winning 35 of the last 47 meetings.
When are the Bears going to wear their throwback uniforms this season?

The Bears will wear their 1940 throwback uniforms in two home games this season, Sunday's opener against the Packers and again Dec. 6 when they host the 49ers. The Bears won four NFL championships in seven seasons in the 1940s, so hopefully that brings them some luck this year.

Bears coach John Fox has compiled a 2-4 career record versus Green Bay. As Panthers coach, he beat the Packers 32-29 in 2005 and 35-31 in 2008 and lost to them 17-14 in 2002, 24-14 in 2004 and 31-17 in 2007. Fox lost his only meeting with Green Bay as Broncos coach, 49-23, in 2011.
