Wow! What an exciting come-from-behind win over the Chiefs after beating the Raiders last week. When was the last time the Bears rallied late in the fourth quarter to win back-to-back games?

The last two weeks the Bears have overcome deficits to win back-to-back games in the final minute of regulation for the first time since November 1962. Both of those contests were won by Roger LeClerc field goals. He hit a 17-yarder with :13 remaining to give the Bears a 31-30 victory over the Vikings at Wrigley Field and made a 15-yarder with :31 to play a week later in a 34-33 win over the Cowboys at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. If you're confused by the distances, the goal posts were on the goal-line in those days and weren't moved to the back of the end zone until 1974.
I was impressed with a couple of plays that LaRoy Reynolds made against the run Sunday after he replaced the injured Shea McClellin. I honestly don't know a thing about Reynolds. Please enlighten us!

Linebacker LaRoy Reynolds was signed by the Bears Sept. 29 primarily to help boost a special-teams unit that had allowed kickoff return touchdowns of 105 and 108 yards in back-to-back games. Reynolds entered the NFL with the Jaguars in 2013 as an undrafted free agent from Virginia. He played in 30 games with three starts over three seasons with Jacksonville, registering 22 tackles on defense and 18 stops and one fumble recovery on special teams.
Were you as surprised as I was that the Chiefs tried a 66-yard field goal at the end of the game instead of throwing a Hail Mary? No one has ever made a 66-yard field goal in NFL history.

Yes, I was surprised. I thought the Chiefs would throw a Hail Mary as well. I still have nightmares of the one they turned into the game's only touchdown on the final play of the first half in a 10-3 win over the Bears at Soldier Field in 2011. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said after Sunday's game that he knew it was a long shot either way, but that Cairo Santos has made a kick from that distance in practice so that's why he sent him out on the field to attempt it. As you saw, the kick was well short, landing only about a yard deep in the end zone.
