The Chicago Bears selected Boston College offensive lineman Ozzy Trapilo with the No. 56 overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Trapilo arrives in Chicago after starting 36-of-44 career games played over four seasons of action at Boston College (2021-24), including starting every appearance for the Eagles over the last three years (34 games). Last season, Trapilo, a team captain, earned First-Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors after starting all 12 games at right tackle for Boston College. Trapilo was named ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week following the Eagles' 420-yard output of offense against North Carolina in 2024. Trapiloadded second-team all-conference honors as a redshirt junior in 2023, also starting all 12 games at right tackle for Boston College.
A native of Norwell, Mass., Trapilo prepped at Boston College High, where he was named First-Team MIAA All-State as a senior at left tackle in 2019. On the hardwood, Trapilo was named the conference's most valuable player as a junior in 2018.
