Bears fullback Evan Rodriguez was arrested early Thursday in Miami Beach and charged with resisting an officer without violence and disorderly intoxication, according to CBS in Miami.
He reportedly faces a $1,500 bond.
Rodriguez was selected by the Bears in the fourth round of last year's draft out of Temple. Converted from tight end to fullback, he appeared in 12 games with five starts as a rookie, catching four passes for 21 yards.
"We are aware of the reports regarding Evan Rodriguez," the Bears said in a statement. "We are currently gathering information to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the situation."
