Tickets for the 2017 Meijer Chicago Bears Family Fest on Saturday, Aug. 5, will go on sale at 11 a.m. Thursday. The event will be highlighted by the team's first 2017 practice at Soldier Field. New this year, kids will have the opportunity to take the field to run the 40-yard dash.
Family-friendly activities outside the stadium are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and include alumni autographs, Staley Da Bear, inflatables, interactive games, face painting and more. Gates to Soldier Field will open at 1 p.m. with practice beginning at about 3 p.m. After practice, kids 14-and-under who are at least 36 inches can run the 40-yard dash on the field.
All tickets to the event are just $8 (plus applicable fees) and will be available by calling 800-745-3000 or visiting ChicagoBears.com/FamilyFest before 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5. After that point, tickets will only be available for purchase at the Soldier Field box office outside of Gate 10. Group tickets (20 ) can also be purchased by contacting the Bears ticket office at 847-615-BEAR (2327).
Seating for Meijer Bears Family Fest will be assigned; there will not be general admission seating. Given that all tickets are the same price, the best seats are expected to be sold quickly.
