Fans encouraged to enter stadium early

With additional security measures being implemented in and around the stadium, fans attending Sunday's game between the Bears and Broncos are encouraged to enter Soldier Field early.

Gates open at 10 a.m., two hours before kickoff.

The NFL's Bag and Purse Policy remains in place and will be strictly enforced. Backpacks, purses exceeding the size listed below and bags will not be allowed into Soldier Field.

Fans may carry in their pockets items such as keys, makeup, combs, phones, wallets and credit cards. They may also continue to carry a blanket or jacket into the stadium.

Every guest may use the following approved specified bags to carry other non-prohibited items into the stadium: One bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).

In addition to one of the clear bags noted above, guests may also carry in a small wristlet/clutch bag or purse that does not exceed 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap. An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the Gate 10 Ticket Office.

Diapers and wipes can be carried in a clear bag as described above. Each member of a family, including children, will be able to carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse, providing ample storage capacity.
