Jay Cutler to host '80s party to benefit foundation

Jay Cutler and wife Kristin Cavallari will travel back in time to host a 1980s-themed fundraiser on Thursday, July 18 to benefit the Bears quarterback's foundation.

The "'80s Dance Party for Diabetes" will be held from 7-11 p.m. at Joe's Bar on Weed Street in Chicago and feature a live performance by '80s music star Billy Ocean.

Attendees are encouraged to wear their best '80s attire to the event, which also will include a live performance by the '80s band "The Breakfast Club."

General admission tickets cost $85 and include an open bar from 7-8 p.m. VIP tickets are $250 and include an open bar from 7-10 p.m., a Cutler autographed photo and a designated VIP area.

Proceeds will benefit the Jay Cutler Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for underprivileged children and those suffering from diabetes. Cutler was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2008.
