Cornerback Jaylon Johnson has been selected to represent the Bears at the Pro Bowl Games for the second straight season.

The 2020 second-round pick from Utah has started all 16 games this season, recording 48 tackles, two interceptions, seven pass breakups and seven tackles-for-loss. Johnson was chosen as a Pro Bowl starter this year after being tabbed as a reserve last season.

"Making this Pro Bowl is special, just [with] all the adversity that's happened this year," Johnson told ChicagoBears.com. "Battling week-in and week-out has taken a lot of fight physically but also mentally. Getting to the Pro Bowl back-to-back years is truly a blessing. I just thank God for all that he's done for me this year."

Johnson is the Bears' first cornerback to be selected to back-to-back Pro Bowls since Kyle Fuller in 2018-19 and the first Bears player since defensive end Khalil Mack was chosen three straight years from 2018-20.

In five seasons with the Bears, Johnson has started all 69 games he's played in, registering 209 tackles, seven interceptions, 48 pass breakups, 11 tackles-for-loss, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Players were selected to the Pro Bowl Games by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches, with each group's vote counting as one-third.

For the third straight year, no actual Pro Bowl game will be played. Instead, the league will conduct NFC versus AFC skill competitions over multiple days in Orlando culminating with a flag football game at Camping World Stadium Sunday, Feb. 2.
