ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has selected Bears defensive tackle Eddie Goldman and safety Adrian Amos to his 2015 NFL all-rookie team.
Eddie Goldman recorded 4.5 sacks in 12 starts.
Goldman was chosen by the Bears in the second round of the draft out of Florida State. He recorded 39 tackles, 4.5 sacks and six tackles-for-loss while playing in the first 15 games with 12 starts before missing the season finale with an ankle injury.
"I think he's had a good rookie season, I really do," coach John Fox said in late December. "I know I'm excited about working with him moving forward, and I think he's excited about working with us."
Kiper predicted that "Goldman is going to be a centerpiece for the Chicago defense for years to come."
Amos was selected by the Bears in the fifth round of the draft out of Penn State. He started all 16 games and led the team with 108 tackles while also registering three tackles-for-loss, one sack and four pass breakups.
