The NFL announced on Tuesday that the 2014 draft will be conducted next May 8-10, two weeks later than usual because of a conflict at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
Aside from the draft, there are no other significant changes in the dates of other offseason events. The NFL Scouting Combine will be held Feb. 18-25 in Indianapolis, followed by the beginning of the new league year and the start of the free agency period on March 11.
Pushing the draft back two weeks will not change when rookies may begin to report to their teams, dates of offseason programs, length of offseason programs or number of practice days.
