Detroit Lions:

* Record: 6-2*

Green Bay Packers
Bye Week
* Record: 5-3
*

Minnesota Vikings:
Minnesota 29, Washington 26
* Record: 4-5*

Matt Asiata ran the ball only 10 times, but he made those carries count, scoring three touchdowns in Minnesota's victory. Two of the touchdowns came in the fourth quarter, including the go-ahead score with just 3:27 remaining.

The strong running game complemented rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who was sharp in the team's second consecutive victory. Bridgewater threw for 268 yards and a touchdown, while not turning the ball over. He played better than his Washington counterpart, Robert Griffin III, who was returning to the Redskins lineup after missing six games because of an ankle injury. Minnesota's defense intercepted Griffin once and sacked him five times.
