General manager Ryan Pace is conducting his sixth interview for the Bears' head-coaching position, meeting in Kansas City Sunday with Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy.
Nagy, 39, has spent the last 10 seasons coaching in the NFL, all under head coach Andy Reid with the Eagles and Chiefs.
In Philadelphia, Nagy served as a coaching intern (2008-09), coaches assistant (2010) and offensive quality control coach (2011-12). In Kansas City, Nagy was the quarterbacks coach from 2013-15 before being promoted to co-offensive coordinator in 2016 after Doug Pederson left to become Eagles head coach and offensive coordinator in 2017.

Nagy did not call plays until Week 13 of this season. But he has been lauded for his work with Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith. The 12-year veteran led the NFL this year with a career-high 104.7 passer rating, completing 67.5 percent of his passes for 4,042 yards with 26 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Under Nagy's direction this season, the Chiefs offense ranked fifth in the NFL in total yards, ninth rushing and seventh passing. The unit propelled Kansas City to a 10-6 record and the AFC West Division championship.
Nagy played quarterback for six seasons in the Arena Football League for the New York Dragons (2002), Carolina Cobras (2004), Georgia Force (2005-06) and Columbus Destroyers (2007-08). During his career, Nagy completed 65.5 percent of his passes for 18,866 yards, 374 touchdowns and a quarterback rating of 115.1.
Nagy played collegiately at Delaware, setting more than 20 career passing records, including marks for passing yards (8,214) and touchdowns (58). He ranked second for most attempts (895) and most completions (502) behind former Delaware star and current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.
Nagy earned All-America honors as a senior for the Blue Hens after setting single-season records in attempts (379), yards (3,436) and touchdowns (29).
Before meeting with Nagy, Pace interviewed Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio Wednesday, Vikings defensive coordinator George Edwards Thursday, Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur Friday, Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels Friday and Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo Saturday for the Bears' head-coaching job.
