Bears fall to Seahawks
(11:58pm) - Robbie Gould kicks a 38-yard field goal with 2:35 left in the game. The three Bears points would be the last scored in the game as the Bears eventually fall to the Seahawks 34-6 in the third preseason game in Seattle.
Bears finally score
(11:48pm) - Robbie Gould's 30-yard field goal finally put the Bears on the board, making the score 34-3 with 5:56 left in the fourth quarter.
Third Quarter:
Seahawks score again
(11:20pm) - Steven Hauschka's 38-yard field goal increased Seattle's lead to 34-0 with 2:32 left in the third quarter. The scoring drive was engineered by backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.
Gould misses from 47
(11:10pm) - Even the reliable Robbie Gould couldn't break the shut out, missing a 47-yard field goal attempt wide right midway through the third quarter. Gould is the third most accurate field goal-kicker in NFL history.
Seahawks miss field goal
(11:02pm) - The Seahawks failed to score for the first time as Steven Hauschka's 53-yard field goal attempt hit the left upright. The kick came after running back Christine Michael turned a short Russell Wilson pass into a 21-yard gain.
Second Quarter:
Seahawks lead 31-0 at halftime
(10:38pm) - Steven Hauschka's 59-yard field goal on the final play of the first half gave the Seahawks a 31-0 lead. The kick came after cornerback Jeremy Lane intercepted a Jay Cutler pass intended for Josh Morgan and returned it 41 yards to the Seattle 43.
Seahawks go ahead 28-0
(10:20pm)- The Seahawks increased their lead to 28-0 on Russell Wilson's 7-yard touchdown pass to running back Christine Michael with 1:55 left in the first half.
The TD was set up by Earl Thomas' 59-yard punt return to the Chicago 16.
Seahawks take 21-0 lead
(10:00pm) - The Seahawks scored their third touchdown on as many drives as Russell Wilson rifled a 12-yard pass to receiver Jermaine Kearse, giving Seattle a 21-0 lead with 7:10 left in the second quarter.
The score capped an 11-play, 83-yard drive and came one play after safety Craig Steltz made an excellent play to break up a sure TD pass when he drilled tight end Luke Willson just as the ball arrived in the back of the end zone.
First Quarter:
Seahawks take 14-0 lead
(9:40pm) - Russell Wilson scrambled for a 7-yard touchdown on third-and-goal, giving the Seahawks a 14-0 lead with 1:09 left in the first quarter. The TD capped a 14-play, 89-yard drive.
The Bears have now given up three touchdowns and two field goals on five first-quarter possessions in their last two games. They allowed two field goals and one TD on three possessions in the first period last Thursday night against Jacksonville.
Bears punt on first drive
(9:25pm) - The Bears reached the Seattle 42 on their first possession, passing on eight of nine plays on their initial drive. They were forced to punt after cornerback Byron Maxwell broke up Jay Cutler's deep pass to Alshon Jeffery on a post pattern on third-and-15 from the Seattle 47.
Cutler was 3 of 8 for 28 yards on the drive.
Seahawks grab early lead
(9:15pm) - Marshawn Lynch's 7-yard touchdown run on the game's opening possession gave the Seahawks a 7-0 lead, capping a seven-play, 61-yard drive that took just 3:31.
Percy Harvin returned the opening kickoff 46 yards to the Seattle 39 and later caught a 25-yard pass from Russell Wilson on third-and-four, giving the Seahawks a first down at the Chicago 7. Lynch scored on the next play.
