The Chicago Bears on Monday signed veteran wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus to a one-year contract.

Zaccheaus arrives in Chicago with 89 career games played (30 starts) over six professional seasons with the Atlanta Falcons (2019-22), Philadelphia Eagles (2023) and Washington Commanders (2024). Since entering the league as an undrafted free agent with Atlanta in 2019, Zaccheaus has totaled 149 receptions for 1,998 yards (13.4 avg.) and 13 receiving touchdowns, appearing in all 17 regular-season games over the last four seasons. Last season, Zaccheaus totaled a single-season career-high 45 receptions, amassing 506 receiving yards and three receiving scores as a member of the Commanders. Zaccheaus also registered a 10.5-yard punt return average, the second-highest rate among all NFC punt returners with at least 15 returns in 2024.

A native of Plainfield, N.J., Zaccheaus prepped collegiately at the University of Virginia (2015-18), appearing in 50 career games for the Cavaliers, recording 250 receptions for 2,753 yards (11.1 avg.) and 22 touchdowns. Zaccheaus' 250 career receptions are the most by any player in program history.
