After being relieved of their duties Monday, outgoing Bears general manager Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy both released statements thanking the organization, the McCaskey family, president/CEO Ted Phillips, players, coaches and others.
Pace described the passion of Bears fans as "palpable daily," saying: "Through the wins and losses, it was our constant goal to deliver the championship you deserve. Thank you for making this city the best 'home field advantage' in the NFL."
Nagy offered his thanks "for the opportunity to lead one of the game's most storied franchises" and called his tenure "four years I'll always remember."
