Bears Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher.
Tickets for the Aug.2 Hall of Fame Game between the Bears and Baltimore Ravens as well as the Aug. 4 enshrinement ceremony in Canton, Ohio, will go on sale at 9 a.m. (CT) Friday.
The Bears and Ravens were chosen to play in the annual game because their former star middle linebackers—Brian Urlacher and Ray Lewis—are part of the Hall of Fame's Class of 2018.
The Bears last played in the Hall of Fame Game in 2005, defeating the Miami Dolphins 27-24. The Bears were scheduled to play the St. Louis Rams in the 2011 Hall of Fame contest, but it was cancelled due to the NFL lockout. The Bears are 4-0 all-time in the Hall of Fame Game, also having defeated the Dallas Cowboys 30-24 in 1968, New York Jets 20-6 in 1977 and Cleveland Browns 13-0 in 1990.
In addition to Urlacher and Lewis, other members of the Class of 2018 are general manager Bobby Beathard, linebacker Robert Brazile, safety Brian Dawkins, guard Jerry Kramer, and receivers Randy Moss and Terrell Owens.
A first ballot Hall of Famer, Urlacher will become the 28th member of the Bears organization enshrined in Canton, the most of any NFL team.
