The final segment of ChicagoBears.com's five-part video series "Inside Rookie Minicamp" features first-year coach Marc Trestman and the last of three practices. Inside Rookie Minicamp
"We recognize the responsibility that we have as coaches that every guy in there is trying to fulfill a dream, and we tried over the weekend to give everybody an equal opportunity to become part of our football team," Trestman says in a sit-down interview during the segment.
"Inside Rookie Minicamp" gives fans unprecedented access to Bears players and coaches. Viewers are taken inside meeting rooms, the locker room, weight room, equipment room, lunch room and onto the practice field.
In the fifth part of the series, Trestman addresses the Bears' draft picks, undrafted free agents and players who participated in the minicamp on a tryout basis.
"I encouraged them to keep their passion up and their dream alive," Trestman says. "They could get a call at any time and they've got to get ready to be interviewed. So that means staying in shape and keeping their skill level up so when their opportunity does come they're ready for that opportunity."
