Ways to salute the troops this Veterans Day

Each football season, the Bears, Boeing and the USO of Illinois honor active military and veterans, giving them a moment on the field at Chicago Bears home games. This year that tradition continues and grows as we honor all those who serve at Home & Away with a tribute video showcased during the Bears Salute to Service game on Sunday, November 10 during halftime of the Bears vs. Lions game. The video features local Chicago Bears fans and players saluting the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces.

This year you can be part of this momentous tribute in two ways. First, you can send a photo of gratitude to all veterans, military members and families—serving both at Home & Away. Simply post your salute photo by texting 'SALUTE' to 84848 or by going to facebook.com/usoofillinois. In addition, you have the opportunity between now and gameday to share photos of you, your family, and friends thanking those who serve by uploading your salute photos to Instagram and Twitter using #SALUTEBEARS. These photos will be displayed throughout gameday on November 10 on Soldier Field's video boards and televisions.
