Who do you think will be the Bears' starting right guard in Week 1?

I think there's a good chance that Teven Jenkins will be the Bears' starting right guard in their season opener Sept. 11 against the 49ers at Soldier Field. The second-year pro performed well in that role in last Thursday night's preseason win over the Seahawks, with coach Matt Eberflus telling reporters that Jenkins played a solid game and impressed coaches. Former Bears right guard Tom Thayer told me that he’s liked what he’s seen from Jenkins and that he possesses the power, footwork and athleticism to play the position. Jenkins will have a final opportunity to prove himself Saturday night when he's expected to play 25-30 snaps along with most Bears starters in the preseason finale against the Browns in Cleveland.
I really liked Dazz Newsome and I recently heard that the Bears waived him. I thought he was doing good, so why did they let him go?

Unfortunately, second-year receiver Dazz Newsome muffed a punt in each of the Bears' first two preseason games and also dropped some passes in training camp and the preseason. He opened camp as the No. 1 punt returner, but ball security is the most important aspect of the job and he struggled with that.
What are the chances we see Trevor Siemian run the first team offense in at least one preseason game?

Slim and none, Richard, especially after coach Matt Eberflus revealed Tuesday that Bears starters—including quarterback Justin Fields—are expected to play 25-30 snaps in Saturday's preseason finale against the Browns. Trevor Siemian is a veteran backup, while Fields is a promising young quarterback who needs as much experience as possible. I'm not sure it makes sense to give any first-team reps to anyone other than Fields.
