Youth represents Bears at PPK Finals

Alisa Fallon of Des Plaines, IL joined 39 other young athletes from around the country to compete in the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick National Finals on Saturday, January 12, at the Georgia Dome during the weekend of the NFL Divisional Playoffs. A special on-field award presentation aired during the Atlanta Falcons-Seattle Seahawks NFC Divisional Playoff Game on Sunday, January 13 on FOX.

Finalists competed separately in five age divisions, with the top scorer in each group crowned national champion. All participants launched two punts, two passes and two kicks with scores based on distance and accuracy (in feet). The best score from each activity is tabulated to determine the athlete's total. All youngsters advanced to the national finals through local, sectional and team championship competitions held through the NFL regular season. The top four scorers in each age group from across the country qualified as national finalists. All participants and their guest were provided airfare, hotel accommodations and tickets to the Falcons-Seahawks NFC Divisional Playoff.

Alisa represented the Chicago Bears in the Girls 12-13 age division. She finished 2nd place in her division with a total of 302 feet.
