On the game's first possession, Shea McClellin sacked Aaron Rodgers, knocking the Packers quarterback out of Monday night's contest with a shoulder injury.

Following Mason Crosby's 30-yard field goal, the Bears answered on their first possession, taking a 7-3 lead on Josh McCown's 23-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Marshall in the right corner of the end zone.

Julius Peppers deflected a Seneca Wallace pass high into the air and intercepted it, returning it 14 yards to the Green Bay 45. It was the only turnover of the game.

After the Packers recovered a blocked punt by Jamari Lattimore, James Starks dashed up the middle through a gaping hole for a 32-yard touchdown run, giving the Packers a 10-7 lead.

Josh McCown's 27-yard pass to Martellus Bennett to the Green Bay 1 put the Bears in position to regain the lead.

Matt Forte's 1-yard TD run up the middle enabled the Bears to take a 14-10 advantage early in the second quarter.

Taking over at their own 1, the Bears marched 93 yards on 12 plays before extending their lead to 17-10 on Robbie Gould's 24-yard field goal on the final play of the first half.

The Packers tied the score 17-17 early in the third quarter as Eddie Lacy raced 56 yards to the 1 and then scored on a 1-yard run. Lacy rushed for 150 yards on 22 carries.

With the Packers recovering a perfectly executed onside kick, Mason Crosby's 23-yard field goal gave the Packers a 20-17 lead and 10 points in less than five minutes without the Bears offense stepping on the field.

The Bears took a 24-20 lead they would not relinquish on Josh McCown's 6-yard touchdown pass to Alshon Jeffery late in the third quarter.

Robbie Gould's 27-yard field goal widened the margin to 27-20 with :50 left in the game, capping an impressive 18-play, 80-yard drive that burned 8:58 off the clock.

The Bears iced the win with sacks by Corey Wootton and Shea McClellin on the final two plays of the game.

Starting in place of the injured Jay Cutler, Josh McCown completed 22 of 41 passes for 272 yards with two touchdowns, no interceptions and a 90.7 passer rating.

Matt Forte rushed for 125 yards and 1 TD on 24 carries and caught five passes for 54 yards. It was his first 100-yard game of the season.

Brandon Marshall caught seven passes for 107 yards and 1 TD. It was his third 100-yard game of the season and his 10th in two years with the Bears.

With their 27-20 win in Green Bay, the Bears (5-3) forged a three-way tie atop the NFC North with the Packers (5-3) and Lions (5-3).

With Monday night's win, the Bears snapped a six-game losing streak against the Packers and won at Lambeau Field for the first time since 2007 when they were victorious by the same 27-20 score.
