The Bears start out with some short throws, including a pass to Matt Forte that gains 22 yards. The catch broke Walter Payton's single-season club record for most receiving yards by a RB (607).

Alshon Jeffery gives the Bears the early lead, finding the end zone on a screen pass from 10 yards out to make the score 7-0 in the first quarter.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford hits tight end Eric Ebron for a big gain, setting up a field goal to cut the Chicago lead to 7-3.

On Detroit's next drive, Jared Allen strips the ball from Stafford and recovers it, giving the Bears field position inside the Lions red zone.

Two plays later, Jay Cutler hits Jeffery for his second touchdown of the day, a 6-yard score to make it 14-3.

Stafford responds, marching the Lions down the field and then connecting with Calvin Johnson for a 25-yard touchdown.

The Lions take the lead late in the first half, as Joique Bell runs in a 1-yard touchdown.

Following a Chicago punt, the Lions continue attacking, as Golden Tate gains 24 yards on a reception.

Detroit tacks on another touchdown before the half, as Stafford and Johnson connect for their second score of the game.

Chicago starts off the third quarter with points, as some long throws from Cutler to Jeffery set up a 35-yard field goal by Robbie Gould.

Gould's field goal was the 243rd of his career, tying him with Kevin Butler for most in Bears history.

Bell scores his second touchdown of the game, again from the 1-yard line, to extend the Detroit lead to 31-17.

Allen comes up with his second sack of the game, taking down Stafford on a 4th-quarter drive that resulted in a Lions field goal.

Cutler finished the game with 280 passing yards and two touchdowns, but it was not enough, as the Lions won 34-17.
