Chavis Cook enters his second season with Chicago in 2025, serving as the team's manager of coaching administration.
Joining the Bears in 2024, Cook's role involves aiding the coaching staff's day-to-day operation and general planning and execution. Prior to his arrival in Chicago, Cook spent five seasons with the Cleveland Browns (2018-13). Cook joined the Browns in 2018 as an operations intern, a position he held for two seasons, before being elevated to the role of coordinator of team logistics. Cook assisted in the planning and execution of the travel operation, orchestrating all logistical measures for all road trips, as well as aided in the facilitation of budgetary items.
In 2023, Cook was promoted to manager of team logistics, where he continued to coordinate all aspects of team travel for the Browns. Cook added the responsibility of working with the head coach to coordinate the team's daily schedule, as well as logistics surrounding practice operation and the communication of such schedules across the organization. Additionally, Cook provided football personnel with input in relationship-building tactics, aiming to increase player development within the organization.
Cook earned his Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of Alabama in 2017 before earning his Master of Science in Sports Business Management from Alabama in 2018. While in Tuscaloosa, he worked as a Student Manager for the football program under Head Coach Nick Saban. During his time at Alabama, Cook contributed to a program that won two CFP National Championships (2015 and '17), aiding the effort for a third CFP National Championship Game appearance (2016).
A native of Montgomery, Ala., Cook is married to his wife, Mary Margaret.
