After concluding their three-day voluntary minicamp Thursday, the Bears signed receiver Marlon Brown and defensive end Nick Williams and released receiver Mekale McKay.
Brown spent his first three NFL seasons with the Ravens from 2013-15, appearing in 34 games and catching 87 passes for 891 yards and seven touchdowns. His most productive campaign was his rookie year in 2013 when he had 49 receptions for 524 yards and seven TDs. Brown signed with the Broncos in 2016, but he did not appear in a regular-season game with Denver.
Williams has played in 26 games in three seasons with the Chiefs (2014-16) and Dolphins (2016), registering 17 tackles. He was selected by the Steelers in the seventh round of the 2013 draft, but he did not appear in a regular-season contest with Pittsburgh.
Brown and Williams were both signed by the Bears after participating in this week's minicamp on a tryout basis.
