The Chicago Bears selected University of Texas at San Antonio defensive back Zah Frazier with the No. 169 overall pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Frazier arrived in Chicago after securing First-Team All-American Athletic Conference honors in 2024 after leading the AAC with a career-high six interceptions, a single-season program record at UTSA.
After starting his career at Southern Illinois (2019), then spending two seasons at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College (2020-21), Frazier appeared in 29 games over three seasons of action at UTSA (2022-24), starting 10-of-12 games for the Roadrunners, and accumulating the second-most interceptions among all FBS defenders. A native of Cedartown, Ga., Frazier prepped at Cedartown High School, where he totaled 93 tackles and 10 interceptions during his prep career, earning all-region honors on two occasions.
