The Chicago Bears selected University of Maryland linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II with the No. 132 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Hyppolite joins the Bears after appearing in 51 career games over five seasons at the University of Maryland (2020-24), totaling 236 tackles (138 solo), three sacks, one interception, six passes defensed and one forced fumble. Last season, Hyppolite secured a career-high 66 tackles, leading the Terrapins defense.
A native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Hyppolite prepped at McArthur High School in Hollywood, Fla., where he helped lead the program to two state championships.
