The Bears on Wednesday signed 14 players to their practice squad, all of whom were released as part of final cuts Tuesday.

The Bears reached the NFL's mandatory 53-man roster limit Tuesday by waiving 13 players, releasing nine veterans and placing three players on injured reserve.

The Bears on Monday re-signed veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis to a one-year contract. Lewis has played 18 NFL seasons, the most by a tight end in league history.

The Bears on Thursday signed rookie fifth-round choice Austin Booker, a defensive end from Kansas, to a four-year contract. 

The Bears on Tuesday signed third-round draft pick Kiran Amegadjie, an offensive tackle from Yale, to a four-year contract.
