The Bears on Monday bolstered their offensive line by signing tackle Jake Curhan to a one-year contract.
Curhan, 26, appeared in 29 games with nine starts the past three seasons with the Seahawks. The 6-6, 316-pounder entered the NFL in 2021 with Seattle as an undrafted free agent from California.
Curhan appeared in 15 games as a rookie in 2021, starting and playing every offensive snap in the final five contests at right tackle. After playing in four games in 2022, the California native appeared in 10 contests with four starts in 2023.
In all three of his seasons in Seattle, Curhan was part of an offense coordinated by Shane Waldron, who is entering his first year in the same role with the Bears.
