The Bears on Wednesday agreed to terms with veteran running back D'Andre Swift on a three-year contract, pending a physical.

Swift, 25, has appeared in 56 NFL games with 31 starts for the Lions (2020-22) and Eagles (2023), rushing for 2,779 yards and 23 touchdowns on 593 carries and catching 195 passes for 1,412 yards and eight TDs.

Swift was selected by Detroit with the third pick in the second round of the 2020 draft out of Georgia. The 5-9, 215-pounder played in 40 games with 16 starts over three seasons with the Lions, rushing for 1,680 yards and 18 TDs on 364 attempts and catching 156 passes for 1,198 yards and one TD.

Swift was traded to the Eagles during last year's draft. He proceeded to earn his first trip to the Pro Bowl after rushing for a career-high 1,049 yards and five TDs on 229 carries while appearing in 16 games with 15 starts.

Swift has six 100-yard rushing performances. He established a career high last Sept. 14 when he ran for 175 yards and one TD on 28 attempts in a 34-28 win over the Vikings in Philadelphia.
