The Bears on Saturday placed safety Deon Bush on the reserve/COVID-19 list and ruled him out of Sunday's road game against the Tennessee Titans.
The new roster designation was created this year for players who either test positive for COVID-19 or who have been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person.
Bush was selected by the Bears in the fourth round of the 2016 draft out of Miami. He has appeared in 60 games with eight starts over five seasons, contributing primarily on special teams. Bush registered his first career interception Sept. 20 in a Week 2 win over the Giants.
