The Bears on Tuesday locked up a key member of their offense by signing star receiver DJ Moore to a four-year contract extension through the 2029 season.
Moore's contract was set to expire following the 2025 campaign.
"I'm extremely excited to be able to re-sign DJ," said general manager Ryan Poles. "We all know he's an impact player and a difference-maker for our offense, but his leadership and professionalism make him a cornerstone of our franchise."
Moore, 27, has appeared in 97 NFL games with 90 starts over six seasons with the Panthers (2018-22) and Bears (2023), catching 460 passes for 6,565 yards and 29 touchdowns.
He was acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Panthers last year in a deal that also landed the Bears the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft that they spent on quarterback Caleb Williams.
Like he did in Carolina, Moore continued to produce at an elite level in his first season with the Bears last year, establishing career highs in all receiving categories with 96 receptions, 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns. He also caught a career-high 70.6% of his targets.
Last season Moore ranked sixth in the NFL among receivers in yards and 13th in receptions.
