The Bears on Monday removed receiver Chase Claypool from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, making him eligible to participate in their first training camp practice Wednesday at Halas Hall.
Claypool had been placed on the PUP list Sunday, presumably due to an undisclosed injury that sidelined him for the final portion of offseason workouts.
After being acquired last Nov. 1 in a trade with the Steelers, Claypool played in seven games with three starts for the Bears and caught 14 passes for 140 yards.
